Several news outlets in Greece are reporting of a fight in the island of Mykonos, where allegedly a British tourist got into a heated argument with locals, after he kicked a cat in the street. The shop owners who saw him, refused to sell to him and told him to leave. The altercation led into a physical fight.
This incident has gone viral in Greece, which has some of the toughest penalties for animal abuse in Europe.
For context, kicking a cat could lead to a penalty of 5000€ which can increase all the way to 50.000€ depending on the severity, as well as a 10 year prison term. The police are investigating the incident.

I'm British and I can honestly say, the young EVERYWHERE are absolutely shit at holding their drink. Been there myself. Nights out can lead to sometimes adventures, sometimes nightmares. A bit of booze where you're still 70 percent aware is ok... more than that gives a much higher chance of ending up on the world watch.....
