Moment man stabs victim twice with zombie knife after street row erupts

This is the moment a thug stabbed a man twice with a foot-long zombie knife before a police dog dragged him to the ground.

In disturbing CCTV footage, Luke Hurdowar can be seen pulling his grey Audi alongside the victim, who was known to him, before approaching him at around 12pm on June 26.

A fight quickly breaks out between the pair with Hurdowar and the victim swinging at each other on a pavement in the Derbyshire town of Ilkeston.

Instead of backing off, the 23-year-old reached into the waistband of his trousers, pulled out a terrifying zombie knife and stabbed the man twice before leaving him to collapse on the ground while bleeding heavily.

He then got back into his car and sped away.

The injured man was rushed to hospital for treatment while Hurdowar fled the scene.

Derbyshire Police later found Hurdowar travelling in the same car nearby but he attempted to flee from an officer on foot into a park.

Body-cam captured an officer and police dog Ultor chasing Hurdowar down an alleyway.
Ultor eventually caught up to the knifeman and the canine was able to drag the suspect to the ground.

Hurdowar, of no fixed address, was arrested, charged and remanded the following day.

He later admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.

Hurdowar was jailed for three years and nine months at Derby Crown Court on September 2.
