In Wrocław, Poland, several men attacked a young Ukrainian couple who had gone to a store. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 26, in the Zakszów district. Police are investigating the case and searching for the attackers.

According to “European Truth,” citing Radio Wrocław, after leaving a store near their home, the couple was followed by several men. According to the publication, the attack was allegedly motivated by the Ukrainians’ accent.

The attackers caught up with the couple near their car as they were about to get in. They knocked the man to the ground and began kicking him. When the woman tried to intervene, they struck her several times in the face and on the head.

After the beating, the attackers fled. An ambulance crew transported the victims to the hospital; doctors suspect both may have suffered concussions. The woman received stitches for an ear injury sustained during the attack. The incident was captured on camera, according to Radio Wrocław.
