I don't own a dog but the fact your dog is loose on your property is not against the law anywhere in the US, the UPS driver was totally at fault and he knows it

@Galaga It is unlawful for the owner of a dangerous dog to permit the dog to be outside a proper enclosure unless the dog is muzzled and restrained by a substantial chain or leash and under control of a competent person. The muzzle must be made in a manner that will not cause injury to the dog or interfere with its vision or respiration but will prevent it from biting any person or animal. The owner may exercise the dog in a securely fenced or enclosed area that does not have a top, without a muzzle or leash, if the dog remains within his or her sight and only members of the immediate household or persons 18 years of age or older are allowed in the enclosure when the dog is present.

@L.X have you never lived in the hood, kid? Ups and fedex driver WILL fight you in some areas. Lol u can even find video of a delivery driver fighting to stop a package theif. Stand on game and protect the brand. HE may get a coaching for unprofessional behavior, but a SMART person wouldve just gotten bit and called the homeowners insurance company. $60,000 sound nice to you?

Should be UPS, Amazon, and Postal policy that if a dog is loose on the property the driver should snap a pic of it and leave.
Send it to the owner, tell them they'll try to deliver once more on a different day.
If the dog is loose again they can pick their merchandise up at the store.
Happens a third time and their address gets removed from delivery services :ermm:
