Democrat Allison Montgomery defeated Republican incumbent Phillip Rigsby in House District 25, winning 53.2% of the vote and flipping the seat.

Montgomery, a software engineer, ran heavily on affordability, healthcare and workers’ rights while Republicans repeatedly targeted her over being transgender.
