A smash-and-grab incident has been reported at Borcherds Quarry in Cape Town, with motorists urged to remain alert and keep valuables out of sight, Cape {town} Etc reports.

A video shared alongside the report allegedly shows suspects scanning the N2 for vulnerable targets shortly before attacking a female motorist on the route on Wednesday evening.
The post also highlights concerns about female motorists being targeted in smash-and-grab incidents along the N2 and R300. It states that some women have suffered severe head and facial injuries in these attacks.
