A jury has heard details of a series of alleged attacks on the Sayers family before an explosive street clash in Byker.
Stephen Sayers, his two sons and three other men deny violent disorder after a Ford Ranger allegedly linked to the Freeman organised crime group pulled up outside The Road bar.
CCTV shows the pickup mounting the kerb towards people outside before being confronted — with objects thrown as the vehicle reverses away.
The jury was told police had been aware since 2022 of a “violent campaign” involving the Sayers family and people allegedly associated with the Freeman group.
Jurors heard allegations including homes and businesses being attacked, cars and vans being torched, a tipper truck being driven into a house, a Range Rover being rammed into a property and the grave of the Sayers brothers’ mother being vandalised.
The court was also shown footage of several of the alleged attacks.
All six defendants deny violent disorder.
