Violence erupted in Los Angeles this morning after a protest organized by American far-right activist Jacob Lang was met by counter-protesters. Lang, who participated in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, previously served a prison sentence in connection with the incident. Additional videos circulating on social media appear to show Lang being assaulted during the confrontation. Due to their graphic nature, the footage cannot be shown on Instagram. Separate videos from the scene also appear to show an individual bleeding from the face after the violence broke out.
