@JobyFluorine CPL 2026. Appointment only at the County Clerks office. They were VERY efficient. In/out and fingerprinted within 15 minutes. along with about 6 others. License in the mail in 20 days. I asked the clerk if there has been a an increase in CPL applications. She replied, "It's basically all we do here now". I lived in a great/safe area but its a county where the "cancer" is spreading from Detroit and it's inner ring suburbs. These criminals and hooligans STILL think they're the only ones packing.

@SoWhatHappenedWas That's cool. I'm glad it's not to bad in some states. A dude I know in Maryland tried for two years to get a concealed carry permit. His brother had a business and he did large cash bank deposits for him all the time. He was eventually denied.

I live in a constitutional carry state, so everyone packs heat!

@Comfortably_numb Yeah, people generally don’t mess with someone who’s openly carrying. LOL. But only several states are truly open-carry friendly like Texas. Personally, I’ve never liked open carry because it seems risky as some crazy person could sneak up behind you and try to grab your firearm off your waist. I much prefer concealed carry. I’ve been to Texas many times, and I rarely see people openly carrying. Most people conceal carry, which means you never really know who’s armed. Probably another reason people tend to stay respectful in those states. LOL.
