This past April 17, a tragic accident occurred on the Zepu Glacier, located in Tibet, China.

A tourist, whose identity has not yet been revealed by the authorities, lost his life after being crushed by a giant block of ice while exploring a cave in the area.

Everything happened suddenly when part of the ceiling came loose, hitting him before he could escape.

It is suspected that the unusual heat in the Nyingchi region weakened the cave’s internal structure, causing the collapse.

After the incident, access to the glacier was closed indefinitely to investigate whether safety measures had been followed.

This is how some caveman burials discovered in the Alps have been preserved relatively intact until the present.
