-An Indiana man was taken into custody after he allegedly fled police in a stolen Bud Light truck and struck a patrol cruiser.

According to WFIE, 41-year-old Randall Baker was arrested after he allegedly stole a truck from a liquor store at around 3 p.m. in Evansville, Indiana.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office said deputies utilized stop sticks to try to stop the truck after Baker allegedly refused to pull over, per the report. Baker eventually struck a sheriff's patrol cruiser and crashed into a field, the report states. The deputy was not injured, WFIE reported.

Following the crash, Baker reportedly refused to exit the vehicle, and deputies deployed PepperBall rounds to get him out, according to the outlet. The suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries tied to the crash, and deputies said his blood alcohol content was determined to be .103, the station reported.

Baker was arrested and hit with the following charges:
Attempted murder
Auto theft
Criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon
Resisting law enforcement
Reckless operation of a tractor trailer
Driving while intoxicated
