Daytona Beach police arrested a Palm Coast man on Jan. 14 at an auto dealership, accusing him of grand theft auto, the Daytona Beach Police Department said. DBPD posted body camera footage of the arrest on Facebook, showing an officer tase the man, Jayden Brown, 18, after he attempted to climb into a truck. “It’s not mine,” Brown said. “It’s stolen. It’s from Elwood, and there’s no VIN, so now what?” After officers handcuffed Brown, he demanded that officers remove the restraints. “Get me out of these cuffs or you lose your job tomorrow,” Brown said. “Do it.” Officers put Brown in a police transportation van, and he attempted to grab the camera before an officer told him to “leave the camera alone.” Brown was charged with three counts of grand theft auto, burglary of an occupied dwelling and criminal mischief, the police department said.
