MEMPHIS, Tenn. - new footage shows the moment an SUV driver crashed into a school building in Midtown Memphis on Tuesday morning.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), the driver's brakes went out, causing him to crash into Middle College High School on East Parkway South just after 9:30 a.m.
The driver told MPD that he maneuvered his car to prevent it from hitting another driver and ended up crashing into the cafeteria window

The video was recorded by a student who was wearing a pair of Meta glasses.

No students were hit, police said. MPD reported that a few students complained of injuries but no one was hospitalized.
