Have you ever aimed a pistol and looked through the sights? I know for 100% certainly that you have not. You probably never held a pistol before. Use your hand like a pistol and point outward and then look through your hand. How is your surrounding vision once you focus on your hand?

He was in front of the car when he pulled the gun; he saw his victim drive to the right, even driving around the door he himself had left open on his car. Even through the cell phone camera, you can see her turning right. He saw it much, much better. And the video from his perspective also shows that he was already alongside the car when he started shooting. The scumbag was never afraid for his life; he was completely focused. He saw the opportunity to murder her and took it.

And by the way, I didn't just shoot pistols and rifles. 30 years ago, I even had to shoot 105mm howitzers. Therefore, your explanation doesn't particularly convince me. He knew exactly what was going on, he knew his victim and knew exactly what he was doing.

Also, listen carefully at the audio. Gunshot noise is very distinctive. The ICE agent was hit FIRST before the first shot. I've just verified this by watching the video in slow motion with the audio meter that shows the waveform with spectrum graph, and it is very clear that he was hit first then the three gunshots.

He positions himself right next to the car, he even leans on the car with his left hand with the cell phone, that's the first noise you hear, and makes every effort to fully extend his right hand with the gun and bring it as close as possible to his victim. He is completely focused on shooting her and knows full well that he won't get run over. Peripheral vision or whatever you're talking about has nothing to do with the whole thing.

It's perfectly clear to everyone involved that she doesn't intend to run him over. If he really thought he was going to be run over, he would have jumped aside instead of leaning forward and deliberately shooting her.

And it seems this wasn't their first encounter. He knew exactly who she was and what her intentions were. He lost his nerve and shot her; he can consider himself lucky he didn't hit anyone else, like his colleague.
