DHS guidelines specifically admonish agents not to put themselves in a position where their only remaining option is to use deadly force. That is one of several protocols that this agent ignored on that day. Front wheels of the SUV were turned to the left.  The wheels spun briefly without traction.  She clearly pressed the accelerator with the wheels turned to left while the officer was in the front.  Luckily the SUV didn't move forward due to slippery road condition as the wheels just spun.  You can then see the officer draw his weapon AFTER she tried to accelerate forward. That officer was the hit and pushed backwards while with his weapon drawn. All this happens very fast but in slow-motion, you can see and get a much better picture of the situation. It's always much easier for you to criticize behind the keyboard then actual being there where the incident took split second.»
