We scraped by on disability benefits for quite a while and lived in Albuquerque’s Warzone in the 80s. Liberal policies (both local and national) did fuck-all to help our situation. However, when all you hear is that the other side is evil, that’s what you believe. We spent years screaming that “what a person does in their private life is fine” when Clinton was literally balls deep in Not-Hillary in the Oval Office, yet Dems were consumed with righteous indignation when they heard a rich playboy talking about fondling some pussy. But you’re so brainwashed you can’t see things like that even when it’s right in front of you. You REFUSE to even stop to think about things like that because you’ve been hearing the same talking heads for so long that you’re absolutely convinced that your information is truth and anything else is false.

Everyone, including people on the Right, choked when Trump entered the picture. They thought it was a stunt. But then Trump started calling out politicians on stage. He didn’t hide shit. He was straight up with people and even admitted that he took advantage of the system. People are sick of the political Team Edward/Jake bullshit. You think it’s a fluke that half the country is now registered as Independent and Democrats have been steadily losing registered voters for years? The party is becoming unpopular and irrelevant so they are using all of their resources to try swaying as many Independent voters as possible. And guess what? No one likes your policies. No one likes the bullshit you’ve caused. And your party knows it. That’s why your party has been doing absolutely everything they can to vilify their opponents. If they can’t win on policy then they attack the character. They make their opponent seem so evil, so absolutely vile, that they can literally put a senile old man and a token black puppet on the ballot and you idiots still vote for them.»
