A 76-year-old retired police officer reacted to an attempted robbery and fired shots at the suspects this Sunday (1st). The action was recorded by a security camera, and the images were released on social media by the retiree's son, who works as a civil police officer in São Paulo.

In the post, the son highlighted his father's experience and physical and mental preparedness, who has accumulated 52 years of police career. "Respect the old man in a profession where men die young," he wrote.

So far, no information has been released about the health status of the suspects who were allegedly shot, nor details about the circumstances following the incident.
