A heated exchange between residents and township officials brought Jackson Police officers into action during Tuesday evening’s Township Council meeting.

The confrontation unfolded as individuals associated with the “Fight for Jackson” movement voiced their opposition to Council President Mordechai Burnstein, directing harsh criticism and accusations toward him.

During the exchange, one attendee walked over toward Burnstein at the podium, at which point police officers stepped in to address the situation.
