President Trump shared an unverified account of today’s hijacking attempt, saying an Israeli plumber pulled the attacker from his seat before fellow passengers subdued him. According to the story Trump heard, the plumber then took the controls despite never having flown a plane and leveled the aircraft before it crashed.

“This is the story that I heard. I don’t know if it’s true,” Trump said
