Inmate uses pencil to ESCAPE South Carolina jail cell

An inmate escaped his jail cell using a pencil to manipulate the door's lock in Chesterfield, South Carolina.
Charles Alexander Dieterich was caught on camera sliding the cell door open before he moved through the kitchen and walked outside through an unlocked door normally used by kitchen staff and jail trustees taking out trash.
Dieterich then scaled jail fencing and barbed wire to fully escape the facility.
Deputies quickly tracked him down on a nearby road and took him back into custody.
Officials say the housing area will remain under direct supervision while the locking mechanism is further evaluated.

@Galaga Zionist plot to waste your life away a few minutes at a time. Or maybe they wanted to show the other prisoners not escaping and looking out the windows? Or it was a formating limitation. Or OP didn't care to trim it. Regardless of the cause, if you're not satisfied, you can contact TWW corporate offices and submit your complaint in writing.

@bjhftdjtvheijidws Makes perfect sense. If you attempt escape, you're only adding time to your ticket, so them steering clear of it makes sense, and the one closing it is smart. They'll be out long before the pencil magician.
