Heather Cherone "reported" on the City Council Finance Cmte. approving $225K to an armed thug arrested by CPD in 2024.
Lois was swift to mention the man arrested with the illegal gun, Lorenzo Williams, is black and how the arresting officer, Mike Donnelly, used profanity, is facing seven lawsuits, and has been named in lawsuits totaling $7M.
Williams had an illegal gun, fled police, resisted police, and refused to drop the weapon.
Williams was awarded $225K for an owie while resisting CPD.

In 2017, a mentally challenged man was held captive for several hours in an apartment on the West Side. The man was bound, gagged, cut with a knife, and forced to drink toilet water while the assailants shouted profanities against white people and Donald Trump.
The incident was livestreamed on Facebook and made national news.
Ofc. Donnelly located the victim "bloodied and battered" in the Harrison District after the man escaped his torturers and brought him to safety.
Only recently, Donnelly, along with fellow officers, recovered a stolen car and apprehended all three offenders.
When arresting Lorenzo Williams, Donnelly helped get an armed thug off the street and recovered an illegal gun.
