LAKE CHARLES, La. - A Lake Charles home care worker was arrested and fired after giving bleach to his disabled client to drink, police said.
In security video from inside the client’s home, the employee, identified by police as Reginald Andre Wilson, is seen pouring a substance from a large jug into a water bottle. He then returns the jug to the laundry area of the home before shaking the bottle and handing it to his client saying, “Here, drink this.”

Detectives said the victim is physically and mentally disabled. The victim reportedly drank from the bottle and noticed it tasted like bleach.
According to police, a family member confronted the Heaven on Earth care worker, who admitted to pouring bleach in the water bottle.

The video was posted by the client’s family who reported the incident to police and is demanding justice.

Lake Charles Police arrested Wilson, 30, on counts of mingling harmful substances, cruelty to persons with infirmities, and aggravated battery.
