I used to be like these people. Then i started questioning why I really felt that way and it was simply fueled by emotion and rage. I supposed people don't realize there likely were Muslims killed working at the trade centers too? People act like Muslims only got here after 9/11 but were here working alongside Christians, Jews, hindis, and all other differing religious backgrounds long before then. I'm not trying to defend every Muslim, but you can't tell me in good conscious that Muslim family members wouldn't be allowed to mourn their loved ones who perished in the same attacks.

I'm not a liberal, I'm not a staunch conservative either. I dont agree with everything he's done but so far mamdani has been doing good things for common citizens. More than any liberal or conservative ever has. In the land of free religion and as mayor, he has a right to be there and show support for the community he governs.

We need to understand there's extremist Muslims and there's Americans who happen to also follow Islam. There's normals and extremists in all religions. Unfortunately a lot of extremist Muslims have been imported into America exacerbating the situation. This site thrives off extreme circumstances because no one would watch normal people doing normal things.
