China couldn't be happier about the anti-renewable energy policies in the US, while they themselves are massively expanding these forms of energy and will produce electricity cheaper than anyone else. They can't believe that Trump is so stupid to torpedo these energy sources. So much for being backward and and killing the golden goose.

Trump was the rusty lifeboat and Kamala was the burning ship. And data centers are for spying on americans and selling the data to any and all with the money to buy. The chinese, the 5 eyes and all the globalist creeps. The leftist can at times be useful idiots and the data centers will become their target now with trumps endorsement of them.

Maybe electric utilities should go ahead and build another nuke reactor or two. Maybe stop importing more users of electric, water and fuel. Don't forget EVs are thirsty for juice too.

If Trump wasn't so involved in crypto and effectively trying to short the US Dollar, I would not care so much.

Media hyped lies is what has driven this anti-data center movement.

The data centers use about 2 million gallons of water a day, but it is not all taken away from the local residents as the MSM says.

They recycle the water, about 40% is kept, 60% is loss due to evaporation.
To restock the 60% lossed, they purchase, non-drinkable waste-water from the water treatment plants.

With the electricity, the power companies put in, or has established that the power consumption can be met, either with current facilities, or with new ones built.
The new ones built, the costs would be partially passed onto the established consumer, but, there has been a bill put into committee that would force the data center to absorb the entire cost of any new power plants required so as not to drain the consumer used power grid.
I mean, think about how stupid it sounds to say a company is going to put in a $500 million data center without knowing they will be able to have the power supplied.

This whole anti movement is just another selfish American and their NIMBY attitude.

They want them, but they want everyone else to pay for it.
