How survived the passagers of the Flight 1549 on hudson river ? How survived the four passagers on east side river last month ?

Landing exactly at the same distance on the shore. If there is too much water, it will act just like a wall. The landing gear and the fuselage belly must be in the water, but the nose must not be submerged.
