During the Wake County School Board meeting concerned parents demanded that the board provide alternatives to elementary school parents who don't want their children educated by a transgender teachers

Middle Creek Elementary School just hired a transgender teacher for the 2026–27 school year. The teacher identified as Aria Derrick, previously Canon Derrick. He now presents as female nonbinary and has been referred to with “Ms.” titles and wears women’s clothing including dresses and skirts

In fact, here is what leftists say to these people: In life there is no need to face problems and reality. If you are unhappy or unable to cope with what is in front of you, you just have to take refuge in a fantasy world and be happy.
