At a traffic light in Houston, Texas, passersby noticed a man stopped and motionless, assaulting his girlfriend, so they rushed without hesitation to help her, and with difficulty managed to separate him from her.

 

What sparked the anger and astonishment of many was that after rescuing her, she returned to reassure and defend her boyfriend, even going so far as to tie his shoe. Some say the man discovered her betrayal, and that was the reason for what happened.

I hated domestic assault 911 calls. 9 times out of 10, it was the SAME woman calling about her "boyfriend" beating on her.
Officers arrive, take him to jail, then they call back complaining that he was taken to jail.
I just wanted him to stop hitting me. Ma'am, we took him to jail, he won't beat on you. Why do you keep putting up with
this? It isn't the first time we've been here.
