A road rage incident in Lakewood turned violent Friday afternoon, with one man arrested after allegedly attacking another driver and knocking him unconscious.

The incident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. on New Hampshire Avenue near Route 70.
The victim sustained a head injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

As earlier reported, the suspect was arrested at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
