Man gets Tased during confrontation with deputy in Fort Myers

New body camera video shows a Florida deputy using a Taser on a theft suspect during a confrontation.

Steven Rosario Jr., 21, allegedly stole $5 worth of rolling paper from a 7-Eleven located on Lee Boulevard in Fort Myers.

The video posted by the Lee County Sheriff's Office shows a deputy responding to the call and finding Rosario in a sitting area at a gas station across the street.

In the footage, Rosario resists arrest and then eventually pushes the deputy into a trash can.

The deputy then deploys his Taser on Rosario, who fell to the ground. That's when Rosario began to threaten the deputy with his life, saying that he was going to kill him.

"Cause you dead when I get up," Rosario said, as the deputy had him pinned to the ground.

Rosario was arrested and charged with theft, resisting and threatening an officer, and possession of marijuana.

It makes sense to use less than lethal in a lot of situations. White cops can't just shoot a Black criminal in this situation, because they have to contend with the Antiwhite media.
