Ontario Provincial Police say they have identified the young men seen in a video circulating on social media showing an attack on a homeless person in Sturgeon Falls, Ont.

“The OPP has identified the individuals involved and is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,” police said in a news release Aug. 12.

The video shows “a group of young males allegedly assaulting an unhoused individual in Sturgeon Falls,” the release said.
