"Today, we're asking our community to come together for a truly deserving gentleman.
An 86-year-old man from Dudley has sadly been the victim of a cruel scam. He was robbed of £860—money he had carefully saved to pay his household bills.
No one, especially someone who has worked hard all their life, should have to face such heartbreak and worry because of the actions of others."

The incident took place in Dudley just before midday on August 3, when two men approached a man in his 80s and stole a bag of money from his mobility walker.

A spokesman for the force said: "We're aware of a video circulating on social media showing this incident and a thorough investigation is underway."
West Midlands Police are reviewing CCTV footage, speaking to nearby businesses, and have confirmed they are supporting the victim.
