These grocery stores will cost 30 million apiece to build, well above what it costs to build a private grocery store. Mamdummy says they will sell food 30% cheaper than private grocery stores. However, we can be confident these stores will operate at a loss and the taxpayer will be subsidizing these stores every year in perpetuity.
