A new poll shows New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could be the Democrats' new 2028 frontrunner

This would mean we would have a real openly socialist Presidential candidate running for President

AOC openly identifies as a Democrat socialist and she openly supports the following policies:

- Medicare for All, meaning a single-payer, government-run universal healthcare that would replace private insurance

- Green New Deal which is massive federal investment in a rapid transition to renewable energy

- Housing as a human right. Aggressive expansion of public and social housing and rent controls

- High taxes on the wealthy and corporations, including proposals for very high marginal rates on top incomes: talk of up to 70% taxes

- More labor unions

- Tuition-free public college and student debt cancellation. (Meaning we pay more taxes to pay for other people’s college and debt)

- Economic justice and anti-austerity framing. AOC targets capitalism and wants public investment and social ownership control in key areas. Meaning taking over businesses

There is nothing new or radical here. She's just repackaging what successful advanced capitalist economies have been doing for decades. Americans, on the other hand, appear happy to trot along the path to feudalism, whilst ranting that everyone else is a mad 'socialist'. Have a listen to the retard try and argue that the U.S. health system is better than every other OECD country that has universal care. Lol. He hasn't got a fucking clue what he's talking about.

Also, soooo many people voted for VP Harris, and she didn't even have a platform. President Trump only won the popular vote by 1.5 percent.

The '28 presidential election looks like it's gunna be a banger! Personally, I'm hoping VP Vance runs and wins.
