Venezuelan Man Yei Reyes, Known on Social Media as “DJ Hampa,” Shot and Killed in the Bronx

Venezuelan national Yei Reyes, widely known on social media as “DJ Hampa,” was fatally shot multiple times early Thursday morning in the basement of M Lounge restaurant in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx, New York.

According to preliminary information, Reyes was reportedly involved in an argument shortly before the shooting. Investigators believe two armed suspects opened fire, striking him multiple times and killing him at the scene.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is investigating the homicide and working to determine the motive behind the attack. Authorities are searching for two suspects, who fled the scene on foot and remain at large.
