NEW: Texas Pediatric Dentist Arrested After 4-Year-Old Dies From Double-Dose of Powerful Opioid During Routine Tongue-Tie Procedure

Dr. Chrishelle Hemphill, 48, owner of Cuddle Kids Dental Care in Fort Worth, was arrested in July 2026 and charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony.

The charges stem from the April 1, 2026, death of 4-year-old Aithana Rodriguez Arriaga, who was brought to the clinic for a routine frenectomy.

Dr. Hemphill administered an oral liquid solution of Meperidine (Demerol) along with other sedatives and nitrous oxide.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner ruled the death a result of meperidine toxicity.

The autopsy found the child had been given double the intended dose, resulting in a blood concentration of 793 nanograms per milliliter — a level considered toxic even for adults.

Tragic.

I know that bad publicity plays a vital role in perception, but I am speaking more from a personal experience, which is no longer satisfactory. For some time now, I have preferred to do all maintenance, repair and construction work myself. I have everything to do the job to my liking.

30 years ago it was racist if a percentage of the student body wasn't a minority so they were accepted whether they could meet the academia or not.
All this did was increase drop out rates and put kids in college debt they were never equipped to handle.

Now it's considered racist if a percentage the student graduates aren't a minority.
This is creating a rightful mistrust in all minority professionals because you just don't know if you're getting a Clarence Thomas or another Chirshelle Hemphil :ermm:

I went to my local dentists 20 years ago. A white guy did some great proffesional work. The next three visits I was given Indian dentists. All different. They all fucked up their work. So next time I rang them I requested a white dentist. "We dont operate like that here" she said. "You get what you're given. So requesting a decent dentist is frowned upon. The pakis fucked up that system.
