People choose to believe in a higher power, but there are also people who manipulate those people, but IMO people could stand to use more humility and believe there is something bigger than all this out there. Belief in a higher power, whatever that is to someone else, is a welcomed thought, it could makes you more existential. If god is god, all he did was create- we manipulate, bastardize, and complicate. Some people have a hard time wrapping their head around the fact we’re also animals, fallible, and very scared when it comes to things we know nothing about, like death, other that its the only permanence we know of.»
