89-year-old French Catholic priest, Father Jacques Lacroix, slapping a two-year-old baby during a baptism ceremony at the Collegiate Church in Champeaux, France. The incident occurred as the priest was attempting to comfort the crying baby. «It makes no sense whatsoever bringing a baby into church to be baptized at that age when it could be at a later age where they have some level of understanding, say 5 or 6 anyway. If you're worried about a child dying before being baptized, the child is under the age of consent, and protected by the providence of God in the innocents.
