The problem with CITY police over most SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES is the police chief in the cities, is APPOINTED by the city council.
In the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, RUN BY LIBERALS, that means the city police chief is most likely a leftist...in order to keep his job.
And, the city police officers, to keep their jobs, must follow what the police chief & city council want.
In a COUNTY law enforcement situation, the SHERIFF is ELECTED by the people, and answers to the people in the form of
elections. If the people want a leftist, they will elect a leftist. But if they want a more conservative law and order sheriff,
they will elect one. And, the deputies will follow what the sheriff wants.

This city police officer, obviously walks the leftist line to keep his job.
