Florida, is rolling out AI-powered cameras on its garbage trucks to scan properties for code violations, unpermitted renovations, & other issues. After installing FLOCK cameras on poles, the city is now adding mobile surveillance from trash trucks to monitor homes and yards.

It’s silly when people relocate to “free states” like florida and texas. There are no more free states. Maybe Alaska will hold out longer than the rest

"Unpermitted renovations" sounds like a line from a futuristic sci fi movie. Having to get permission to swap out your kitchen or bathroom is a bit dystopian no? Surely you're improving the damn thing? What's the permission for?

@Oculus_noctis So they can tax you for the repairs and renovations, them jack up your property tax assessment to get more money out of you. It's all a grift. It has nothing to do with public safety.
