The taxes in Canada have absolutely nothing to do with the Taxes in the United States, dumbass. Talk about missing the mark, Americans aren't pissed about high taxes, Americians are pissed about the massive fraud in American govt.

The tax rates he's quoting are for the highest earners who can afford lawyers and money managers so this is obviously an example of hasty generalization as most people fall into a lower bracket and so pay a lower rate. Most provinces pay about 6% sales tax with Alberta 0% and Quebec 9%. But I've never paid a medical bill in my life so there's that.

@PrairieGod In Canada, if you are a lower middle class earner, $75k USD, you pay for everyone's medical bills out of every paycheck, including elective surgeries, plus, Canada has some of the worst healthcare worldwide, while still paying sooo much for it. Also, depending on your location and medical needs, you may have to wait up to 18 months, maybe more, for life saving surgery, if you don't die first.
