On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at approximately 7:00 PM, two of our volunteers were assaulted by Polk County Sheriff's Office officers after performing their homeless outreach and service. They were given no reason for their arrest and sustained injuries. Their personal belongings were also unconstitutionally searched and confiscated.
