Charles Jones Jr., known as rapper ‘Julio Foolio,’ was murdered in an ambush shooting in June of 2024 by Isaiah Chance, 23, Sean Gathright, 20, Rashad Murphy, 32, and Davion Murphy, 29.

It is believed the murder was part of a retaliation for ongoing Jacksonville, Florida, gang violence.

Prosecutors were seeking the death penalty for all 4 men, found guilty of first-degree murder; however, the jury recommended life without parole.

Chance’s girlfriend, Alicia Andrews, was convicted of manslaughter last October, and she was sentenced on May 22 to 15 years in prison.
