Bodycam footage shows a stolen car ramming into a police cruiser, according to the Anne Arundel County police.

The video begins with an officer pulling up behind the stolen vehicle with flashing lights at a Hanover Wawa on Milestone Parkway.

Instead of complying with instructions, the driver plowed backward into the cruiser, drove forward into a concrete post, and then reversed into the cruiser a second time, according to police.

Investigators said Djaen Marquise Jacobs, 28, of Glen Burnie, then tried to take off running.

The video shows officers tackling a man to the ground. Officers can be seen removing a gun from the man in the video.

When did we stop using those batons on the utility belt of every cop as throwing sticks to trip them up... or is causing a fleeing suspect to fall to hard considered excessive force now? :ermm:

@ScreaminMime Standard procedure advises against throwing batons at suspects. They may wind up grabbing the baton and using it against the officer.

He should have just shot that turd.
