Trump said Meloni begged him for a photo at the G7. Her response: "Italy and I never beg." The Italian PM called his story totally made up and said she doesn't get why he treats his own allies like this, and it's not the first time. "It's a shame he doesn't show the same determination with the enemies of the West, leaders he's far more accommodating with." FM Antonio Tajani backed her up, scrapping his own U.S. trip this weekend over what he called Trump's offensive words toward Meloni.
