A brief search in the media reveals countless protests by local residents against tourism and the purchase of real estate and land by foreigners in almost all countries of Southern Europe, or there are measures in place to restrict tourism and protect the local population. This is particularly true in Dubrovnik, mentioned by FacelessMen, with its Game of Thrones history.

@JobyFluorine But you will be able to visit a sweet resort with a bunch of workers who are happy to have one of the best jobs on the Island. I have seen it over and over again traveling to small Islands and talking with the help. In Mexico they work for 3 weeks straight staying in dorms nicer than the homes they come from and travel back to Mexico city on the off days to give the money the their families and they are More than happy to do it.

The Bay of Vlore, where Sazan Island is located, is one of Albania's main vacation and resort region. They are investing into buildings and infrastructure.

@JobyFluorine If you see who the "ACTIVISTS" are that oppose this, YOU'LL GET IT.  Same shit here in the US, just different country.  Claims that residents of Sazan Island are being forced to move out are not true.  Sazan Island has essentially no civilian population and has been largely uninhabited except for military use.  The protests are primarily driven by environmental concerns and people who are against large scale luxury development.  And it's always the small group of activists that screams the loudest.  Sazan Island remains Albanian state property.  The project involves a resort development agreement, not the sale of the island to Jared and Ivanka.  OP stating that they are buying the island and turning it into an Epstein Island is just laughable.
