Bribed? Obama returned Iran's own money, including over 35 years' worth of interest, to settle a legal dispute.

Trump has spent at least 30 billion on a war, caused chaos worldwide, wiped out hundreds of billions in economic output, and achieved absolutely nothing so far.

@chechnya Yes, a legal dispute. It concerned money that Iran had transferred to the US to purchase weapons. However, the weapons were never delivered because the revolution took place. Nevertheless, Iran wanted its money back.

Trump will give Iran much much more, and the regime there, which is now even more radical, will carry on exactly as before. We can already see how Iran continues to support Hezbollah and the Houthis.

It is clear to everyone that Trump is an idiot who shouldn't be president, and really ought to stay out of politics altogether, but this memorandum is an embarrassing defeat, even by Trump's standards. The Iranians are celebrating.
