Volusia County, FL - The driver, James Hardy (DOB: 05/18/1978) entered Volusia County and was met with Deputy Brough’s stop sticks, which deflated his tires. The vehicle continued driving recklessly and when the driver began going in the wrong direction – endangering motorists – Deputy Brough did a successful PIT maneuver on the car.
The driver jumped out of the car and ran into the woods where K9 Gator and his handler Deputy Richardson caught up with him. The suspect continued to resist including punching K9 Gator multiple times before he was handcuffed.
Hardy faces VSO charges of Fleeing and Eluding and Resisting with Violence and will face additional charges from SCSO.

It never ceases to amaze me how 3 cops can't get cuffs on a suspect. Do they train these guys or what?
