The House of York ruled England from 1461 to 1485, though their reign was briefly interrupted for a few months in 1470.
For the ordinary public living during the Yorkist era, the situation was identical to the later Tudor period: Strict Religious Law: The Catholic Church prohibited marriages up to fourth cousins without expensive papal permission. @JobyFluorine its fuckin horrific. It's like the Bronx or Compton. White people try their best to stay well clear. If you move to London from the countryside and you believe in love and peace and that all races should get along? 1 week is all it would take to flip that idea upside down.
Type "wild scenes in west croydon" into utube for an idea. 40 years ago, this area used to be predominantly white. It's where i grew up. Take a look what its turned into now. Ok Nowhere near as bad as the USA, but still.... Cultural enrichment at its finest.

It's terrible that there are now mayors in England that aren't even English. That just should not be. U.S. Congress is starting to get like that, too, and the dem voters keep voting for the WRONG candidate.

I also hate how it's becoming a police state against its own citizens and letting aliens run the show. I was in love with the idea of going on holiday in Cornwall, specifically Port Isaac, but I'm afraid that I'll get arrested for saying the wrong thing.

@JobyFluorine Book that holiday to Cornwall. It's still safe there. High house prices mean predominantly white residents. You get a few dotted around there, but when they're in the minority? Nice as pie. The most relaxed (cowardly) "people" you'd ever want to meet. A bit like Croydon 35 years ago. As soon as they get their numbers up in the community though? They turn into the "people" you see in Croydon today. Scumsucking leaches. If you watched that video? See the white "lady"? Pink boots, black hoody? That's how white people turn out when they intermingle with them. In life, no matter where you go on this planet, you're supposed to be proud of your heritage/place of birth. For me? I've always loved British comedy and TV shows, and I had a great time in the U.K. when I was there 35 years ago, training with the British Territorial Army. I don't think they are called that now. Man, those guys could drink!

I miss the place and I'd like to visit Deacon Brodie's while I'm there, if I have the time.
