A felony suspect who was fatally shot by police after a short vehicle pursuit that began downtown and ended in a crash on an East Los Angeles freeway off-ramp was identified Thursday.

Jesus Ernesto Jaime, 30, died in the shooting that occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday on the Olympic Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

@Tuukka Imho, most of them have been ugly for a while. If you want a high line car with rear wheel drive and a manual transmission, it's the only option unfortunately.

@Tuukka I'm an auto tech, and I'll tell you what, most cars are getting that way now. Like Chevy using an oil immersed rubber belt on the oil pump, or Ford putting the water pump right inside the timing cover. Hyundai group hasn't made a decent four cylinder engine in fifteen years, and battery replacement on any electric car is tens of thousands of dollars.

I've owned German cars for over twenty years, and from my personal experience, they are as shit as any car from any manufacturer. Also, I don't think that I'd but anything past 2015 or so, and maybe those are too new.
