Violent Barricaded Suspect, K-9 Bite

Deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Palm Coast man following a domestic disturbance investigation Sunday night that escalated into a barricade situation and ended with one suspect in custody and FCSO K-9 Titan taking his first bite out of crime.

 

Deputies responded to a home in the R Section of Palm Coast around 10:00 p.m. after the Emergency Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a distraught victim reporting that Ilia Javoronkov, 43, of Palm Coast, was hurting them. During the call, the victim pleaded for help, stating “He’s going to kill me” and “Please bring help; he’s hurting me.”
